FALL A CONTEMPORARY DANCE PRODUCTION

A DANCE PERFORMANCE BY SHIFY ASH, ARIC MASTER AND NAKULA SOMANA

Fall` is a futuristic, sci-fi production about the possible outcomes of the advancements in technology, specifically Artificial Intelligence, which we strive to use, control and manipulate to make our lives easier and much more efficient.

`Fall` talks about the illusion of control that we think we have over AI and technology and in turn becoming slaves to it. If so, what will happen if the idea of the master and slave is reversed in the future?

When we strive to create a perfect society, sometimes, we forget that a utopia can only ever exist for one person because each person has a different perspective of what a perfect society could be.

Therefore, if a single being does manage to bring to life their vision of a utopia it will inevitably lead to a dystopia with chaos and unrest for everyone else.

It makes one wonder, can we ever completely let go of our pasts and create a future that we, in the present, cannot comprehend or will we keep hanging on to the roots of mankind that keep us human?

`Fall` is wierd, fun, innovative, outrageously experimental and a one of a kind experience that will make you question, wonder and imagine the future in a uniquely different perspective!
