Pia Sutaria ,a graduate of the “Professional Dancers Teaching Diploma” at the Royal Academy of Dance ,London, has trained in classical ballet for 18 years as well as jazz, contemporary and modern dance. She has been performing all over the world for the last three years,New York,LA,San Francisco,Turkey,Israel,Canada,Japan and the UK to name a few. As a dancer/singer she has performed on various occasions as a soloist at the National Centre for Performing Arts ands Royal Opera House in Mumbai and also models and has represents brands like Dove,Jockey,Puma and many more.

During her study at the R.A.D in London, Pia realised the deep void that existed in vocational training for ballet in India. As a result, Pia’s vision is to make vocational training in dance accessible to young artists with exceptional potential who strive to create a self-sustaining career in dance. Moreover, to make Ballet, an otherwise elitist art form, to be within the grasp of anyone who wants to pursue it.

She is the Founder and Artistic Director of “Institute if Classical and Modern Dance”, and runs a certificate program for students aged 11-18 which aims to prepare young dancers for a vocation . Pia has also been a resident teacher and Head of Ballet at the Danceworx Performing Arts Academy from 2011-2018. She is also the resident Ballet teacher to the One Year Program Students at Shiamak Davar’s Institute.
