STREETS CHOREOGRAPHY

Syllabus

Parth’s Streets Choreography class helps dancers to pay close attention to musicality as the choreography goes hand in hand with the music. Parth extensively focuses on minute details interlaced in his choreographies. His class begins with stretches, locking basics, grooves (those mainly necessary for the class) & then it rolls into the routine. He feels it's okay to not get the complete choreography in one class but one shouldn’t let the music slip away while dancing. This class also focuses on the texture of the movement and the quality of performance.

CONTEMPORARY collab class with Somya Kautia

Syllabus

His and Somya Kautia’s contemporary collab class focuses on improvisation, technique, range of motion, musicality & routine. Contemporary is a huge term, and the movement can vary from person to person, depending on one's training/experience. Usually the class starts with a space awareness exercise done with cardio, stretches & technique to open up the muscles & get the right form, then the class experiences an improvisation session which allows every individual to move the way their bodies have never moved (range of motion & musicality). “It’s dance class and one shouldn’t wait for my count to start dancing or stop right after the choreography is over”
