In Kshamata’s class a lot of attention is paid towards precision and how a particular movement is supposed to be executed. As the name suggests it is a combination of Jazz and Hip-Hop, the class has a combination of the techniques of jazz and grooves of hip hop with a lot of importance on back and neck movements. It also includes elements of waacking and vogue. The class is divided in 4 halves, first the warm up which focuses on building strength, flexibility and stamina. Second is centre work which includes pirouettes, kicks, grooves, isolations and Jazz Funk vocabulary. Third across the floor which will have turns, kicks, Jazz walk and combinations of the above. Lastly she chooses to end with a Choreography. Major focus is on clean movements, understanding music, style and performance.
