Dipika Vijay is an academically trained designer from National Institute of Design. She has been belly dancing for over eleven years and now teaches Belly Dance and Aerial Fitness. She has traveled to San Francisco, Shanghai, Ningbo, Lisbon, Oakland, Portland, Las Vegas, New Orleans and Cairo to further upgrade her skills in belly dance and alternative movement, and continues to travel every year. Over the years, she has developed her own flavour in the Tribal Fusion style of Belly Dance. Through her journey, she has also taught hundreds of students apart in addition to multiple film and television actresses, taught dance courses at premier design institutes, trained contestants for beauty pageants and has taught in multiple cities across India and in the US. She has also collaborated with artists and brands in a variety of creative projects. 

She now practices Belly Dance not only as a sensuous dance form but a powerful tool that generates awareness of the body, mind and spirit. She dances to enhance beauty and teaches so that others may see the beauty that already exists within them. She uses movement to create form and form to shape thoughts.



In the ninety minutes technique, isolation and vocabulary based Belly Dance class with Dipika Vijay.. you'll experience the strength and stamina building exercises, mobility drills and combinations created specifically to increase mental and physical awareness. Every class covers basic foundational moves along with a strong dance posture, travel patterns, arm carriage sequences and multiple practice drills to continue the thrill and excitement of learning beyond the class period.
